Booking Terms & Conditions

PAYMENT

For adult picnic parties, a £50 deposit is required to secure the date and acts as a security deposit.  Your deposit will be returned within three days post-event if we are satisifed with the condition the items have been returned.

For children’s picnic parties, a £50 deposit is required to secure the date and can be used against the remaining balance as the items included are not fragile.

If the deposit is not paid the date will not be secured and will be made available to others. If the event is within 2 weeks of booking then the full balance + the deposit is due.

Payment of a deposit is acceptance of these terms and conditions and is considered a binding contract.

Payment is made via bank transfer.

FLOWERS

For adult picnic parties we endeavour to use fresh or dried floral arrangements. We are happy for the fresh floral arrangements to be kept by the customer, however dried floral arrangements are reused and therefore will need to be returned.

VENUE

While we are always happy to work with venues and off-the-beaten-track locations, it is your responsibility to check that the venue, public space or home can are agreeable to the event and use of the hire equipment.  Some public parks enforce alcohol restrictions that is your responsibility to comply with.

CANCELLATION

The deposit will not be returned if the event is cancelled or moved within 14 days of the event date, however your booking can be moved to an alternative date free of charge if more than two weeks notice has been given.

We cannot make any promises that your preferred alternative date will be available. If an alternative date cannot be agreed upon, and notification has been given within a sufficient notice period, we will return the final balance minus the deposit.

The Party Picnic Company reserve the right to cancel your hire at any time. In the unlikely event of this happening, a full refund will be made, however The Party Picnic Company will not accept responsibility or liability for losses or any other costs incurred as a result.

WEATHER

In the event of bad weather, we cannot cancel or move a booking unless two weeks notice is given. It is the customer’s responsibility to source suitable shelter for the hire or provide an indoor space.

DUTY OF CARE

During the event, you have a duty of care for the hire items in your possession. We ask that you keep all pets away from the setup and move away from the setup to smoke to avoid any burns, staining or strong smells.

TRAVEL

Any booking more than a 30 minute travel time will incur a delivery cost of 0.40p per mile. Please note, we will not extend beyond over 40 miles from our base in Central Bristol or Gloucestershire.
